Scroll wheel magic.

If you happen to use a mouse with a scroll wheel, here’s a couple of tricks for you:

  • While holding down the CONTROL key, scroll forward and watch as your screen zooms in. Now, scroll back to zoom out. Once you’re zoomed in, you can still use you mouse to move around the entire screen.
  • When surfing the web, you probably keep one hand one the mouse. So, hold down the OPTION key and scroll forward and backwards through your browser history. Personally, I find this easier than the back button or the “COMMAND + arrow keys” method.

Battery recall

About a month ago, Apple announced a battery recall for some laptops batteries manufactured by Sony. If you have an Apple laptop* (or battery) between October 2003 and August 2006 you should click the link below to see if you qualify for the free exchange.
